Training
The optimal way of training is to come to you and run an on-site course for your scientists and technical staff. In this way they can ensure that your specific requirements are met confidentially and with direct relevance to your needs. These courses can vary in length from 2-5 days depending on the amount of hands on practical experience required.
The basic tools used in quantified pathology relate to measurements made from light or electron microscopes. The basic rules for obtaining suitable sections and images and how to make measurements on these images are dictated by the science of stereology. However, both the basic ideas of stereology and their intelligent application to real problems must involve formal courses and consideration of individual problems. Our training can take novice stereologists to a fair level of expertise but only the hands on experience of applying these techniques to real problems will develop real understanding. We can provide tailored courses at any level of detail needed and also a coaching service to help take you through the planning and analysis of your first few important studies.
